The snow

We were so excited to finally take Claire out in the snow. Last year her snow outfit really was way too big, but this year it is only slightly too big. She loves the snow. Here are just some of our pictures for you to enjoy.

Terrible Twos

We have hit the terrible twos early. Claire likes to stuff things in the opening of his amp in our entertainment center upstairs. Last night she stuffed all of the little people nativity set and a monkey in the opening. It took quite a long time to get these little guys out of the little opening. Terrible twos before she turns two...how long will this last?

Merry Christmas Again!!

This was the Christmas cards we sent out this year. We wanted everyone to enjoy it.

Reindeer

Today we got to go see some of Santa's Reindeer. Claire absolutely loved it. She was so happy she didn't want to leave. We thought we'd share how cute the reindeer were.

It's Cold Season

Well after two weeks of putting up with Claire being sick we decided to take Claire to the doctor. Poor kid is sicker than we thought. She has a sinus infection, chest congestion and a severe ear infection. So here we thought she only had a bad cold. Now we get to start the round of medicines to help her get rid of all these illnesses. Its so sad...I guess it is a good sign that the cold season is here.

Claire Speaks

The other day Bryan asking Claire some questions...like 'what does a dog say?' Anyway, Claire has certain things she will say people say to her. So Bryan asked Claire "what does Terin say?" Claire said "AAHHHH!" Bryan then asked "what does Janelle say?" Claire replied "hey baby." Next Bryan asked her "what does Peggy say?" Claire then made a coughing noise. Finally Bryan asked Claire "what does mommy say?" I was expecting her to say something like No No No, but here is what Claire said..."I wove you!" Which in Claire's language is I love you. It was so cute.

Brent and Kenely Visit

She loved wearing Uncle Brent's shoes.

We loved having Uncle Brent and Kenley come and visit. We are so happy they would come up here. It was a lot of fun having them with us. We are so glad they came to visit.

Our trip

We got the opportunity to visit my family.
Claire loved spending time with her grandparents. She would put a pillow on the floor and then say "grandma lay down...go night night." It is so cute to see how much she loves her grandparents. She also loved spending time with her cousins. We got to play rock band, go trunk-or-treating, and play the wii. She loved having her cousin Cole read to her. We are so glad we got to spend time with you guys. We just wish we could have spent time with all of the family. We love each and everyone of you.
It snowed while we were visiting and as you can tell Buddy loved to play in the snow.

Here are the pumpkins we carved this year. My mom, dad, Bryan and I carved the pumpkins with some help from Claire every now and then.

Claire was a little pumpkin for Halloween and here she is with her little cousin Janey (she was tinkerbell). Claire loved being with her.
We are glad we got to spend time with most of my family. We are also happy that we were able to help my parents with some of their remodeling job. We just hope we helped them out as much as they needed us to. Thanks for letting us invade your house...I know Claire loves being around each and everyone of you just was much as we do.

Halloween Party

This past weekend Bryan's cousins hosted their annual Halloween Party. We had to go of course...we love spending time with them. Claire was a pumpkin. Bryan was a young Donald Trump (He even mastered his eye squint and his pushed out lips). I was a gangsta...aka a "wigger" according to Bryan. (Thanks to my nephew I had some great bling bling and a grill to wear.) Bryan and I tied for the most original costume prize. We had a great time.

Early Christmas

Claire got this as an early Christmas present...For those of you who don't know Claire loves to slide. Well in this video you can see the electronic basketball hoop in the back ground...well she would straddle the slanted bar and slide down. We decided to get her a real slide since it was obvious she loved to slide. Well now Claire says..."Thanks Grandma Lois...I love it!!"

Duck Races

This past weekend we went to the duck races. Claire loved it the entire time she called it the "lucky duckies". She still talks about going to see the "lucky duckies". Don told us that there were about 45 thousand ducks dropped into the water. I thought it was pretty cool to see. So I thought I'd share it with all of you.

Curls

Poor Claire she has hair similar to her mom. It won't hold curls no matter what we try. If you have suggestions...we'd love them. As you can tell we have tried hot curlers. The curls make her look so grown up and oh so cute (although she's my kid so she is always...almost always cute to me). Here is one of her hair after the curlers have been taken out. Here is the problem....her hair only stays curled for about ten minutes. I have used hairspray and that makes it last for maybe fifteen minutes...Any suggestions?

Another First for Claire

Today Claire experienced another first in her life. It was a very warm day so I took Claire outside to play in her sprinkler. Claire loves to run around and look at all the things she can see. Well she found some ants, spiders, a praying mantis and a bumble bee. Well I thought the bumble bee was dead so it couldn't hurt her. I looked away for a second and when I looked back she was holding the bumble bee. She quickly dropped it and said "bee hurt me". I looked and sure enough that little bumble bee had stung Claire's finger. For about an hour after it happened she kept looking at me and saying "bee hurt me." Poor little girl had to learn one of life's lessons...bumble bees are NOT fun to hold!!

Peggy's Visit

Recently Aunt Peggy came to visit us. It was great to have her come and visit. We love people come to visit us. Claire loved to have Aunt Peggy visiting her. She had so much fun being with Peggy. In fact after Peggy left she kept going to the stairs and saying "where Peggy go."
Claire showed Aunt Peggy how much she likes to go down slides at the park.
We took Claire to feed the ducks. It was a lot of fun, but it is a bit scary sometimes...it is like the ducks attack you for the bread you brought.

Porcupine Bay

Well this Summer has been such a busy one. We have had so much fun. We had our annual trip to Porcupine Bay a few weeks ago. I was really worried how Claire would be since we camp so close to water I was worried how she would be. My worries were for nothing...she was so cute. It was a great week. I'm so happy with how she did. Here are some of the pictures from the week. Hope you all enjoy them.

Well this first pictures is of one of the bats that seemed to fall in love each night with the inside of one of the wakeboarding boots. For three different nights bats seemed to make the boot their home. The first time we found them...the boot had about 15 bats living in it and then other two times there were at least three bats in the boot. This year was the year of the bats I guess!!

Claire loved to help cook. She thought that by using the giant spoons and moving the dirt around that she was somehow helping cook.
We took Claire on her first tube ride behind the boat, but it didn't exactly happen like we had hoped. She cried almost the entire time, but after that all she kept saying was "Tube Claire Ride." She loved it.
We brought this new tube called the "see saw". It was a bit of a work out to do it, but a lot of fun also.
Claire would put the tubes on over her head...all of them. Than she would say "hula hula hula." She thought she was hula hooping.

Claire loved to be on the boat. Even in her prayers she wold pray for the boat. It is cute how much she loves being on that boat.

We had fun swimming together as a family. Claire wasn't so sure of swimming in a lake. She is used to swimming pools.

Claire just loved to hold the flag for anyone wakeboarding or riding the tubes.

Tubby Time

The other day we told Claire it was time to take a bath. Being the kid that she is...she went to the bathroom and climbed right in and started playing with her toys. What a smart kid we have...there were only two problems. #1 there was no water in the tub yet and #2 she was still in her clothes.

Look out American Idol

One of Claire's favorite things to do is sing. Of course we like to have her sing for us. Here is her new microphone (which she loves) and she is wearing her high heels (poor Claire she has wide feet and the heels don't really fit her).

Here are some of her favorite songs to sing. I am sorry in order to enjoy them you must also listen to me sing. Please forgive me.

Storm

Last night we had a storm come through last night. At first it was just lightening, but then the down pour came. Before the rain Bryan and I caught a few pictures of the lightening. We thought you guys might like to see some of the pictures. These were our favorite ones.

Its been a party

Daddy is excited. Clarie has found an interest in playing guitar hero!! She's a natural!

Cole had a good time pushing Claire around in the stroller after our family pictures. Claire had such a good time she fell asleep. We got to attend Cole's baptism and Janey's blessing. It was a great to be there. We took Claire to her first parade while in Utah.

The cousins got together and had a dance party. This is a little video of Claire dancing.

Ute Stampede and Carnival

One of Claire's favorite things was the flag that was skydived into the rodeo arena. All night long she would look up and say 'flag'.

Claire loved being so closer to all the horses and cows at the rodeo. One of the rodeo queens were nice enough to allow Claire to pet her horse. She loved every minute of it!!

Claire really didn't like the Merry-go-round, but summer was happy about riding it.

Claire wasn't so sure about the choo choo ride

She did like the giant slide.

Family Reunion

Summer even helped me make Fry Bread for dinner. She was such a wonderful helper. I'm going to miss her being around. Summer you and your family will have to come visit me. I miss you all lots!!!
Each one of Claire's cousins helped out by playing with her and pushing her around in her carseat...Summer especially loved helping us out with Claire.

Grandma and Papa brought hats for each grandchild to decorate. Claire loves hers and her cousins love their hats also.

We went the the zoo while we were there. She found an animal that she loves to say the name of. It was just so cute we couldn't help but put it on here.
