We have been having a lot of fun this summer. We have gone boating many times and we have had so much fun doing it. We are trying to get Mia used to tubing. She isn't so sure of it at first, but ends up having a lot of fun once we get moving.
Grandma Lois bought the girls some dance outfits. They love dressing up in them and dancing all around the house. I just can't resist them. They look so cute in them.
We have also spent a lot of time in the pool this summer. We are so grateful for so many people who are willing to share their pool with us. One day Claire's friend came and swam with us. They had so much fun jumping of the diving board together.
It was so fun to watch them, but Mia doesn't like watching Claire do anything. Mia feels if Claire can do something than she can too!!
I have to include this picture just because it makes me smile to see how happy my girls are with spending time with their daddy.
This last week Claire lost her second tooth. I love to see how proud she is of herself. I can't believe how much she is growing up.
There are days where my two girls really push all my buttons, but then they have these moments that melt my heart. This was one the moments my heart was melting. I love seeing these to play with each other and just simply have a great time as sisters.
We have had so much fun this summer I can't believe it is almost time for school to begin. Not only is the summer almost over by Claire is actually starting Kindergarten this year. WOW, that time went by fast!!!

Utah Trip -Part 2
There will be a lot of pictures with this post as I am trying to wrap up a month long trip in just two posts and the last trip post only covered 1 week. We were able to to go the Hogle Zoo. Where we had so much fun and loved seeing the new exhibits.
For years Bryan and I have driven past the Hill Air Force Base Museum and told each other that some day we were going to visit it. Well this year we finally decided to do it. My mom and dad came with us which was so much fun because my dad knew so much about some of the planes. In fact there were a few models of planes that my dad has jumped out of with his military service.
We were able to take the girls bowling with some of their cousins.
We had a lot of fun on the 4th of July. Claire and her cousin Summer helped Grandpa Chuck put up the flag, then we had a picnic, played on the slip n slide and watched fireworks with most of the aunts, uncles and cousins. What a great day! The only thing that would have made it better was if Bryan was with us.
One day we decided to go and walk around Silver Lake. I was really proud of the girls, they walked around the entire thing. Then we drove over guardsmen's pass and met up with my Aunt JuLee at Dairy Keen for lunch. The girls loved the choo choo.
Before my sister Ginet, her hubby Zach and their kids went back to Virginia we decided to do Sparklers all together. It was so much fun.
My sister Ginet got a new camera for Mother's Day. She has a talent for picture taking. She took some pictures of the girls for me. I wish I would have thought ahead and had their hair done cute, but oh well this works...right?
Just like every summer, we went to the Ute Stampede in Nephi Utah. It was fun! I ran into Elder Jace Austin (not an elder anymore, but will always be remembered as one to us) who served in Kennewick. It was fun to see him. We got to see the American Flag sky dived in to the stadium. This is one of my favorite things because they play "Proud to be an American" while it happens. I just am so happy to live in this country. Afterwards we enjoyed a great rodeo.
I think this last pictures just sums up the entire trip!
It was so much fun! I didn't want to come home (except to see Bryan)...however, I had responsibilities to attend to. Now onto being the primary president and building our new house.

Utah Trip- Part 1
It was my annual month long visit to see my family in Utah. One of the first days we were there my parent's worked at the temple so I took the girls to the park. They had so much fun. Here they are playing together.
Mia had a great time on this little bridge. She would run across and then jump across.
Claire also had a great time climbing on and over just about everything in the park.
Claire had a first while we were in Utah. Thanks Grandma Nancy for helping her with this first. She is so proud of it.
Then we went camping for my family reunion. They kids had so much fun playing with their cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Mia learned to play baseball...thanks Cole!
Mia loved walking Aunt Kris and Uncle Mark's dog Cooper.
We spent time at the beach. We rented a couple of paddle boards.
Buried each other on the beach
Lots of the kids tried worms and crickets that Cortney bought while in Seattle. It was nasty... Mia seemed to love it though.
We had a squirt gun water fight.
Then it turned into a huge water fight. Mia just liked to get herself with the water in the cooler that was originally used to fill up the water guns.
I finished my camping/family reunion week by attending the US Women play Canada Women at Rio Tinto Stadium with my mom and by best friend Peggy! It was so much fun!!

Cortney's Trip
We have been counting down the days until my niece, Cortney, came to visit us. She graduated high school and we got to provide her a vacation after graduation. She flew into Seattle early one morning. Bryan and I were able to go and pick her up (thanks to mom and dad...Bryan's parents for watching the girls).
We first took her to Pikes Market. She got to see the huge fish being thrown and see all the fun sights. Next stop, the pier to visit Ye Olde Curiosity Shop and then we walked around the pier. The next stop was the Seattle Aquarium. We had a lot of fun.
The next stop on our day of fun was to take her to see the space needle. She really wanted to do this. She was so excited to shop and a little upset when I told her she didn't get to shop as soon as we got there. We surprised her with lunch at the Sky City to celebrate her High School Graduation. Then she got to shop her heart out.
After shopping we walked around and saw things we could around the space needle. Then we took Cortney on a Ride the Duck tour. It wasn't as amazing as the first tour we had was better, but this one was still a lot of fun. Then we got in the car and left Seattle. We spent about 5 or 6 hours in the car and we drove to Coeur d'Alene Idaho and spent the night. After a fabulous breakfast we headed off to Silverwood. We had so much fun despite the colder temperatures and it being a day full of school kids.
Finally we were back home. After two days packed full of fun we took a few days off and just relaxed. Then Claire showed Cortney how to do the zip-line at Uncle Dale's and Aunt Rachel. We are so glad they let us play on the zip-line. It provides so much fun...
...Yes that is Claire with her feet pretty much above her head. Then of course we had to swim at Perry's Party Palace Pool...once again we are grateful for Uncle Dale an Aunt Rachel for sharing their beautiful pool with us.
We had such a great time with Cort visiting. My two girls had so much fun with her. I think she saved me so much stress. So much happened with moving, preparing for our family reunion, ward boundaries changing, callings, and so many other things. Thanks Cortney for making the past two weeks the best ever! We love you!!!

Just Fun
We have been having a lot of fun since preschool got over. We kept packing and packing...the girls loved to play on the boxes as we kept stacking them up.
In the midst of our packing we helped another friend move from one house to another too. The girls had a lot of fun playing with the other kids while we moved boxes.
Claire finished up her swim lessons until the Fall. She has had a great time. We are so proud of how good of a swimmer she has and is becoming.
The girls took advantage of a nice day and had one more picnic on our back porch...before it is no longer our back porch.
We moved into the in-laws and Mia has found herself a new job for herself.

Graduation
It was such a fun day for Claire today. We spoiled her and took her to Janelle to get her hair done before she went to her school graduation. She was just so thrilled to have her hair done and to have so many people to support her! Thanks to everyone who came and supported her in this special day.
We loved this past year at young years preschool. We loved each and every teacher. Claire loved going to school and learning from each one of these amazing ladies. She will miss them. Here she is with Mrs. Rains.
This is Claire with Mrs.Yaden. Mia couldn't let all these pictures get taken and not get in at least one of them.
Then Claire with Mrs. Lee. Thanks again to all three of these amazing ladies!
It is official now....Claire is a preschool graduate!!
We are all so proud of you Claire!!!
