Curls?
As many of you know my hair doesn't do much but go straight...even if I take a lot of time to curl it. Claire's hair is the same way and of course Bryan's hair sticks up! One day after giving Mia a bath we noticed her hair curls when it is wet. Now there is a chance she could have curly hair... Grandma Lois and Aunt Janelle have natural curl to their hair; also some of the cousins have curly hair too. The following are some pictures of her hair shortly after a bath.

Fun Times
We had the opportunity to take Claire and her friend Teancum to the children's museum. As you can see from this picture, the two of them had a blast!!
Mia has also started to love moving around in the Johnny Jump Up. She loves having it in Claire's door so she can watch Claire play.
Here is Claire doing what she loves to do. She loves being with her little sister and Claire is so great to Mia.
The last of our big news is....Mia is starting to sit on her own. She doesn't sit for very long, but she is starting to do it!!!

The Fours
Well it was a big week for Claire. She turned four years old. This was her first present she got. Her letter from Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Chuck. They put confetti in it and she absolutely loved opening the card and seeing the confetti.
For Claire's birthday we went to Red Robin for dinner. As you can tell from her face, she was loving people singing to her and bringing her a sundae.
Here she is with her cake. She helped mix and bake the cake and then she also helped frost it. She was just so excited to do her own cake.
Here she is saying she is four. We found out that she is 42" tall (90th percentile) and 41 lbs (83rd percentile). I can't believe she is already that big!!!Thursday, January 6, 2011
Mia's new trick
This is the latest trick from Mia. We've seen her do it a couple of times, but every time we tried to get her to show people she could do it, she wouldn't. Finally I got video evidence of it...now you all can enjoy it too.
Christmas
This Christmas was a lot of fun. We got to do a lot of things. This isn't the greatest picture of our family, but here we are with our Graham Cracker Houses (we decided graham cracker houses would be easier to make with Claire than real gingerbread).
Here are Claire and Mia in their matching pjs. Claire loves to be twins with Mia and pjs are the greatest way for us. She also loves to match colors. If she is wearing pink she wants Mia to wear pink too. Claire just loves her baby sister.
This is Claire with one of her favorite presents from this Christmas. She absolutely loves playing her leapster. We like that the games are educational too!!
Here is Mia in her little Santa dress. She is smiling a little bit. We love this hat that her Aunt Shannon gave us. Thanks Shannon...Mia looks adorable.
Here is one of our favorite pictures from this holiday. Claire wasn't so sure of Santa at first, but she really warmed up to him. Mia loved it until he said "Cheeseburger" instead of "cheese". This pictures was taken right after it. Notice the frown on Mia's face.
